These holidays are hitting them in their ‘hearts’ worried about people eating and traveling with loved ones? But they forfeit the short game having no clear tactics to leverage a longer drive.

+ Today, it feels like we’re being squeezed tightly by folks clamoring to save themselves while smothering every good thing that’s worth saving.
We’re worried, hanging on by a thread, and still managing to make a little magic.

To frame this another way: there are a lot of decision-makers sounding the alarm about a "student reading crisis" while implementing policies in their districts and schools that are actively removing books from the hands of students
(And that's BEFORE we talk about the censorship going on, too)
