3/ I'm old to remember when these company crossovers felt like distinctly different takes assembled from uniquely different teams.

2/ I wish I'd picked up DC's version of the Batman/Deadpool crossover but, at a glance, it looked so much like the Marvel version I just assumed it was a variant or 2nd printing...

That Treasury really livened up my #NCBD haul. While there are two promising new titles (The Phantom and Invisible Man), I've fallen way behind in reading the others...except USM, which is unfortunately a mind-numbingly dull series I'm about to drop.

And...if someone can explain how in the Hoary Hosts of Hoggoth Doctor Strange could have a 450th milestone issue, I'm very curious. Ah, nvm - they're counting 109 issues of Strange Tales from before he was created.

Last week saw DWJ's final ish of Transformers. I'm about 10 issues behind reading that, so I may dip out after this, despite Kirkman and Mora taking over.

Nice haul!

I like the thin weight. Would pair well with an extra bold subtitle.

The tone changes as well. All caps is a BOLD choice and mixed comes off soft and flat. The recent FF comics have been damn near unreadable with the mixed case lettering.

So...how did this happen? Sliding timeline covers this?

No arguments here -- I prefer everything about Returns to '89!

That's more like the Returns suit logo. The '89 batsuit had a uniquely different tail. Here's one of the crests from a prop auction.
