So how did I end up accepting it? I think because I'm a child of a broken system. And that system was kept running by:

- Leaders who promoted biblical inerrancy
- Leaders who didn't believe it, but let other people promote it
- Peers telling me it was true
...

One slightly depressing truth we keep encountering on Origin Story is that almost every political term you can think of (socialism, populism, fascism, liberalism, democracy) has multiple definitions, shifting over time, so there is no solid, eternal meaning to hang on to. It's always an argument
