The TOS of these apps suggest that when an image is used as a base for a prompt, it is within their right to collect it as training data.
Some of them even have binding arbitration. i.e you can't sue them.
This is crowd sourced data scraping.

Discord has apparently added generative AI "apps" users can use to modify any image posted in any discord server.
On by default, no way to disable them, no moderation tools.
Fuck discord, support artists (discord sure doesn't).
