Maybe if it were clued as “possible remark after a photo finish” or something of that nature, I’d be less inclined to dislike it. But imo, it’s still an annoying bit of fill.

The only two songs I’ve heard this year that I’ve replayed with any regularity are “La Mudanza” from Bad Bunny and “Hooked” by Franz Ferdinand, and I don’t think either of them would’ve cracked my Top-50 from last year (ok, maybe “Hooked”).

Going to Tampa and seeing all the Lightning flags and signs, even well after the team had been eliminated, made me realize just how well they’d become beloved by the community. I seem to remember a few ESPN Magazine fan polls putting the Lightning among the best-run teams in US sports.
