finished SHf!!! it feels a bit early to mark this as finished, as the ending insists getting at least one additional ending to really satisfy. but i think the core of the game will be similar on repeat playthroughs which i plan to do

I'm gonna throw in my two cents. It's okay to like a game without claiming to be a fan of it's entire genre. You can like Expedition 33 without being a dedicated JRPG fan.
All these people claiming otherwise are keeping that gate with their life, and they don't want you liking "their" games.

Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

Especially given recent news, I *really* want a recipent of one of this year's Game Awards to trash talk the living hell out of the thing during their speech. Make it so bad that Geoff himself comes out on stage and tries to stammer through a lackluster interuption as the whole crowd boos.

CO:E33 is definitely winning (maybe Silksong surprises us??) and i feel mixed? its not even because of the game as it deserves it’s accolades! i find the superiority coming from media/gamers saying this game revived (j)RPGs and is incredibly innovating and i’m like huh? this is a love letter to them
