Take precautions if you are in an outbreak area & are pregnant, esp. your 1st trimester. Contracting Rubella (the “R” in the MMR vax) is no joke. It can lead to miscarriages, stillbirths & severe deformities. Plus the R’s (the kind that hate women) will force that pregnancy to continue, regardless.

We all knew this day was coming soon, but the passing of Pres Carter still hurts my heart. I had the honor of meeting him after he left office & it was clear that his love of family & country was genuine & deep. A kinder soul has never graced the WH & he was as good a man as God created.
