As somebody who is angling to get a place for the first time, the whole idea of hosting seems exciting and new but I see how there's a lifecycle to everything.
This year, we got a hotel for two nights for Thanksgiving. I wanted a break from the hosting and cooking and planning. Alas, the toddler in the room adjoining ours wants to bang around their room whilst screaming and yelling.

Chicago’s O’Hare airport currently has concession spaces to fill. Among those to pitch for one is Sidetrack Bar, one of the Windy City’s best-known gay bars. Sidetrack opened on North Halsted Street in 1982. 43 years later, it’s still going strong. The proposed bar would be located in Terminal 1. 🪩🏳️🌈
