Meet our newest patient here at the Alaska Raptor Center, a Northern Pygmy Owl named King Owlbert by his rescuers. Owlbert arrived with a drooping wing, making flight difficult. We’ve given him a supportive wing wrap, plenty of tasty mice, and time to heal. #small #owls #adorable

An update from my New Year’s resolution to compliment people more, especially focusing on when people are just exceedingly good at their jobs.

I love it. I notice more good things. People are genuinely thankful to be told they are amazing. Everyone wins.

I'm able to make this animation of how the ocean breathes in and out CO₂ because of data collected by NOAA scientists, data served at NOAA websites, and tools provided by NASA. All are under threat of being dismantled by the Trump administration.

Behold, here are the orbits of ALL 128 MOONS OF SATURN. This isn't just a moon system—it's a literal asteroid belt around Saturn! 🧪🔭☄️
