Dude. Thunderbolts* had a great theme about self-hatred inside this super hero movie. And I think they did the right thing by NOT solving it with the suggestion to have friends that care about you. I hope that hero learns to love and forgive themself.

“Lake Fire” from @loscil.ca is where I feel like earlier EPs had implied (Umbel, Chroma) but never quite landed.

This comes across to be as the best recent iteration of the Loscil vibe and will be one I reach for over time similar to Endless Falls and Coast/Range/Arc//.
