About a decade ago, I was comparing different cruise lines. Most of them still had the usual “formal night” dress code requiring a jacket and tie for men once or twice per cruise, which is fine. But one line actually specified “jacket required at all times outside your cabin.” It was hilarious.

The problem is a lot of people on here want a magical solution that’s going to fix everything in 5 minutes. Paraphrasing A no longer acceptable book series. It’s a constant struggle to hold back the darkness.

Looked at them a couple years ago for a project but dropped them as a possibility when I found out that they don’t produce a side map so Google won’t index. Which is wild to think about.

The usual reply is something along the lines of.” if we don’t get what we want we will deny them transit.” Which seems impractical unless of course you’re charging $1000 toll at the border or something.

I’ve tried pointing this out too friends and family. “So you think it’ll be easier to negotiate with Canada? As opposed to being inside Canada?”
