A little bit of everything books (especially history),, Star Trek, NASCAR. FYI using iPhone dictation so there may be mistakes. Please make allowances.
Few things reveal the insular nature of Los Angeles entertainment circles more clearly than their continued obsession with a dead rapist, simply because he could make difficult shots and was a lousy teammate.

Was this before or after he worked out with Bigfoot?
On a recent THR Awards Chatter podcast, Dwayne Johnson opened up about how he knew — and tweeted — about Osama bin Laden’s death before it was even announced by President Barack Obama: bit.ly/49IFFtx

So apparently the Simpsons season 37 not available on iTunes. Those geniuses at Disney would prefer me paying $9 for one month of Disney+ when the full season is out as opposed to $46 which is what I paid last year for the season pass.

A lot victim blaming in this…
Jimmy Kimmel’s comment about the Charlie Kirk shooting suspect was a mess, and a miss, which gets less clear the more you look at it: bit.ly/4mrl13X

So #NASCAR is going to allow more Cup drivers to run Xfinity or whatever it’s gonna be called. Just when Xfinity is actually getting some traction as an independent series. They really are the smartest guys in the room aren’t they?

Now that was just being stupid. #CFL

Genuinely confused by this as someone who still does occasionally interact with the Harry Potter fandom. Considering the only spinoff that gets brought up constantly is Marauders era. Even that’s usually pitched as “what if the Weasley twins but an entire show“.
Between Disney Adults becoming the key market for theme parks, the desire for a darky, adult-ier Harry Potter, the maturation of Lego for a consumer's market and everything else...I am uncomfortable generally with people embracing a long, unending adoselcence

Not like he didn’t have months to come up with an actual vision. 🙄
In his first few minutes as the chief of the newly titled Paramount Skydance, David Ellison took the microphone and mostly deflected a bunch of questions from reporters who’ve followed every turn of the 13-month journey to close the $8 billion deal to take control of the studio.

Popped into the other side immediately came across a New York Times employee complaining about not getting attribution for something. Which is funny on multiple levels.

Good one race suspension for Hill. #NASCAR got things right for once.

What a great drive for Wallace. With a big middle finger to the guys in Daytona Beach. #NASCAR

So #NASCAR penalizes Hill for five laps when it doesn’t matter…? I was right about them finding a way to be inconsistent.
July 26, 2025 at 11:17 PM
If #NASCAR is consistent. That should be a suspension. Then again if there’s one thing consistent about NASCAR it’s their inconsistency. So who knows
July 26, 2025 at 11:05 PM
The complaint that people had when this thing was announced was that it was going to be “90210 in space“. Judging by the trailer it’s going to be more serious than that. So that’s something…. #StarTrekAcademy #StarTrek

My replies went from "BS caution!" when Jesse Love spun -- which *erased Daniel Suarez's lead* and set up a late restart btw -- to "rigged!" after he won the race. So it's "rigged" yet NASCAR threw a caution that could have cost him the race?? So freaking stupid. FFS.

If you read it he said it was an appropriate penalty. Weird I would’ve thought that #F1 would want someone publicly defending the driving standards.

Quick note to W. W. Norton & Company if in your infinite wisdom you decide to actually charge $72 for a Kindle version of a book you can afford to actually pay for all the rights to the images in the print edition. No for the record I didn’t pay full price it came up in the daily sales. #booksky

So many Simpsons moments wouldn’t have hit as hard without him.

The UCP loves some culture war stuff. Surprised it took this long. Interesting to know that all the examples are graphic novels. So “joke” that they can’t read and just enjoy the art a little too much.
