Here to see if my writing can pass your personal Turing test in 300 characters or less.
You can add "Like a light bulb" to every line of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and not only does it still work fine, it adds a whole new meta-subplot if sung as a duet.

To prove it, here's "Like a Light Bulb", a tale of enthusiasm, wilful stubbornness, doubt, and ultimately vindication.

So much for maintaining a poem a day. But here's a new one anyway.

I'm not saying ALL my December poems will be festively-themed. But this one happens to be.

It's called "Oh, Parody", because it is one.

Today's poem is about advent. Topical, right? Does that get more clicks? Who knows?

Today's poem is called "Dragons" and it goes like this:

Today's poem was inspired by a prompt: The weather and the British fondness for talking of it.

I'm so sorry.

No poem today - instead, here's a small fragment of a much larger world I've been working on for a little while. If you like it, let me know and I'll share more.

Another day, another poem in the bag. Hopefully it doesn't slip down too far and get covered in crumbs.

Exercise 4 of 4 (these are all individual haikus, not an avant-garde modular poetic structure)

Another day, another poem. I'm traveling today so this one is about trains. It's called "First Class".

I promise not every post will be quite as meta as they've been so far, but it's on my mind a lot at the moment and I've challenged myself to post a poem a day so we're rolling with it.

Well, this is going to really mess with the algorithm. There IS a poem in this t̶w̶e̶e̶t̶ skeet, but it's longer than 300 characters so I'm screenshotting it.

It's another Bluesky-themed one - it's called "Starter Pack".

I should probably add tags so I guess let's confuse the real #starterpack feed.
