There's a period of like one week every year where I'm like "damn, autumn is my favorite season" and then suddenly it's dark and cold and gray and wet all the time and I remember that no, this isn't my favorite season. But right now, we're in that one week!

I really love how the homepage of @ampwall.com shows a selection of new releases to discover. When I opened it today, I was excited to see my new album Tartarus on there (as well as the just-announced/upcoming "Nine Reflections" from @takemethere38.bsky.social). Bonus cat peeking in at the bottom!

The cover art for Tartarus. My brother actually physically created this monster as a costume piece using foam (that's him wearing it)! I edited the photo in #pixagefx, a powerful image editing software, limiting the color pallette & adding the CRT/pixelation effects. Love how it turned out!

For what it's worth, I added the narrative elements of each track as "lyrics," so you can read along as you listen! The pdf version that comes with the download is much better, because it has images!

Here's the infamous photo of my highly professional recording studio. The microphone arm is attached to a TV tray that is stacked on top of another TV tray, and there are hand weights being used to counterbalance the mic.
