I'd kick ham out the door in a heartbeat (assuming this is just in the context of Thanksgiving and not "remove one food from existence")

Thanks for kicking off the show with one of my songs! It's an honor to be part of the program!

I LOVE this album art!

I wasn't able to catch this live, and I didn't see it over on Mixcloud. Is this archived anywhere that I can hear it??

Looking forward to it!

I saw one yesterday and meant to post the same sentiment. Dumb and ugly.

I totally relate! Writing the music is the fun part, but trying to do all the other stuff (planning content for socials, promotion, uploading, writing, sending emails, etc.) sucks all the fun out of it. Not to mention the constant, looming existential dread on top of it all!

Can't wait for Ralph to show up in the next Voidscan project

I thought My Wife's Soup had a pretty good debut album (self-titled), but their next release, Leftovers, was even better.

To me music that is artistically successful reflects and projects a part of the artist and acts like a magic spell by allowing another person to experience the inner world of the artist through nothing but vibrating air. You can't expect to package and monetize that shit.

Hurrian Hymns, a community compilation from @passedrecordings.bsky.social. Inspired by one of the earliest written pieces of music, this compilation takes you on a journey through time, featuring many talented artists' interpretations of an ancient song.

The latest from @takemethere38.bsky.social, Nine Reflections: Music for Cats is an ambient homage to the artist's cats (past & present). It's mellow, easy listening, but with lots of textures that make it dynamicb& interesting with each subsequent listen.

Tired Monster, by @voidscanmusic.com, is incredibly well-produced electronica that straddles a line between danceable & dark. There's a somber thread that runs underneath this one, a perfect soundtrack for the current moment.

Discovered/fell in love with the music of @fold.fm this year. Deftly blending funk & hip-hop aesthetics and clips from various speeches & media, these songs are catchy-yet-poignant, with a message that sticks with you long after it's over. Like DJ Shadow w/ more politics!
