Honestly, I'm not gonna fault you for that. That's a heck of alot more than most people are doing. My contention is merely with the statement "things are better than they have ever been" because for many people across the world this is the worst time they lived through and that warrants compassion.

That's frankly a rather narrow perspective. For whom, things are not better for Palestinians being bombed in Gaza than they were before the occupation. Things don't improve unless we fight for them. You *should* believe something can be better, but not that it will get better without your help.

i think we all want to go down the path of selfdestruction sometimes, to indulge and to trust our lives to something greater be that god, a father-figure or the revolution. in the end i think it important that we take a deep breath in those moments and think "im no good to anyone dead."
