It’s the Wookie defense of economics
This is incoherent blather
WELKER: If tariffs help consumers, why is the administration rolling them back?

BESSENT: You know how much you weigh. You get on the scale every morning. Inflation is a composite number and we look at everything. We try to push down the things we can control.

The federal government shot Marimar Martinez in Brighton Park, charged her with federal crimes, and just weeks later is dismissing the case. This follows several dropped prosecutions against protesters. To say the immigration raids have been all around mess is an understatement

Increase property taxes.
Increase the school rate to something closer to what plenty of folks in the burbs pay.

There are two for you Brandon
Faced with mounting criticism over his plan to close a huge budget hole with expanding taxes on:

Fewer people in the labor pool is deflationary?

Where did you get your economics degree?
Fed Governor Stephen Miran: "Cutting down net migration to 0, potentially even negative because of the deportations that have been occurring, I think is very deflationary."

How scary is “decrease property values”? Over 30 years ago there was a discussion in Naperville because the public library had Playboy magazine available.
At the library board meeting a local relator made the argument that playboy at the library could hurt property values.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."
