No offense, but maybe don't try to assert your morally absolutist feelings upon these fictional stories because you cannot grasp the idea of a villain in a sci-fi fairy tale getting redemption and trying to atone. And no, death is not atonement.

But of course, that is ignored because it goes against your argument. And no, dying for your redemption is not the only way to go about it. Sometimes it is just narratively unsatisfying to see a character redeem but never live to atone for their actions.

Crosshairs had his chip removed and chose to stay with the Empire for the long term until he realized that they didn't care about him and he was nothing but a tool for them. Crosshairs willfully joined the space Nazis but redeemed himself and atoned for what he did.

Yeah, him redeeming himself like that and getting into force heaven is not a hard set rule for every other character to take. Crosshairs from The Bad Batch had a redemption arc and he lived at the end of the story and got to atone for his actions.

Really doesn't. I sympathize with Vader, but that doesn't say anything because they are fictional characters. A concept that you seem to lack understanding of. Also, Star Wars is a mythology, a fairy tale; if they can show a character be a fascist and redeem themselves, then they can do that.

Inaki would be stellar casting for Beast Boy.

I bet you had a stroke when Crosshairs from The Bad Batch was shown to have a redemption arc and literally atoned and lived towards the end of the story. Somehow, I doubt you watched The Bad Batch.

Except I didn't say that, your comment is literally the equivalent of what this tweet said:

That's a loaded thing to say regarding fictional characters. These are fictional characters. You gotta be pathetic if you think wanting to see a fictional character be redeemed and see them atone for their redemption makes you a Nazi sympathizer.
November 6, 2025 at 5:40 AM
Yeah not really. Also, this is Star Wars where Vader can do one good act at the end of his life and go to force heaven. Also, Crosshairs in The Bad Batch did some horrible shit and worked to atone for his horrible actions.

And do what? Harass people and be an annoyance as hell that will turn people away from the movie? His little marketing campaign was cringe as fuck. I didn’t forget how he tried to reply to Biden asking him to promote the film under a tweet talking about actually serious issues.
October 25, 2025 at 4:40 PM
Yeah, we wanted to see more story out of the character and showcase his atonement after being a villain for so long. Star Wars has always been about redemption and we wanted more out of Ben Solo post-TROS.

How do you forget the core theme of Star Wars? The core theme of Star Wars is redemption because Star wars is a modern mythology and you can show Vader being complicit in horrible actions and commit one good deed at the end of his life which sends him to force heaven.

It really fucking isn’t

Never say never, he can do both simultaneously. Make his trilogy and his knives out films.
