Pretty sure people who want the Kylo Ren movie also want the Rey movie. I love Kylo Ren and I hope we get Rey’s film soon.
Could his resurrection be justified in a movie series about space wizards. 100%. I just wonder at the creative impulse behind doing another fascist redemption story over our inability to imagine a woman getting to push the franchise forward.

Or maybe people just liked Ben Solo because he was one of the most compelling character in the sequel trilogy and wants to see a villain redeem and actually atone for their actions instead of the tired trope of dying while redeeming yourself

This is where I draw the line at criticism of Finn’s handling;they’re using Finn and John Boyega to attack Rey and Daisy Ridley.
I hope we get better black representation in Star Wars going forward, but the Sequel Trilogy is Rey Skywalker’s story, and her story means a lot to people like me.->

How does a movie franchise this big and iconic leave almost no lasting impression… it’s weird. Anyways, The Lost World is amazing, I will fight yall on this. I watched that VHS on repeat as a kid for Goldblum alone.
