TAW Portfolio - Drama & Acting (1/4)

Let me introduce my lovely little (gremlin<3) tinkerer Meg.

I knew that for the acting portion of the portfolio that I wanted to include some kind of "expression sheet" thing. Meg, as my go-to comfort OC, felt like a natural choice.

Over 5 months of prep and work came to a conclusion yesterday, as I sent in my portfolio and application to the Character Animation course at The Animation Workshop.

I just got my very own Ipad a few days ago and I just gotta say...the freedom of not HAVING to be in my room to draw is so...freeing. I love my room but when you work from home all the time, it starts to feel a bit...restrictive

Reminder to unclench your face when drawing expressions.

I really need to get a small mirror next to my workplace or something when I'm working on expressions, I tend to clench my whole face to match what I'm trying to draw...ouch...

11/10 dentists do not recommend

I know I'm not alone in this, but one thing that I struggle with as an artist on SM is the feeling that I need to "optimise" my time spent here.

Post on certain times, use the right tags, polishing my art as much as possible. But in doing so I feel like I'm ruining the enjoyment I could have.
