If I have something really specific I wanna animate, I like doing a rough animation sorta straight ahead-ish like this first.
From this I'm gonna pick out the keys and breakdowns, make more precise time charts, and decide what to add in the second pass !

If I have something really specific I wanna animate, I like doing a rough animation sorta straight ahead-ish like this first.
From this I'm gonna pick out the keys and breakdowns, make more precise time charts, and decide what to add in the second pass !

Listen kids, art teachers drawing over your art is the correct way to teach. The issue here is not teachers, it's you being too ego involved. You can make pretty art at home, art class is for messing up faster so you can learn, not for showing off.

I think the last movie I worked on I made 100 something layouts, anywhere from 4-20 drawings per layout, but an average of maybe 8-10 so around 800-1000 something drawings.
