Die ARD wird wohl tagesschau24, das ZDF angeblich ZDFinfo behalten. Zur Zeit sieht es damit so aus, als wäre phoenix ab dem 12. März Geschichte.

Sparen beim ÖRR, ja, gern. Aber phoenix wegrationalisieren? Wo das politische Geschehen begleitet wird? Nach letzter Woche sollte klar sein: keine gute Idee! Allein am Freitag wurde 10 Stunden am Stück live berichtet. Ich mache nie bei Petitionen mit. Aber hier gehöre ich zu den Erstunterzeichnern.

Good that there is increasing understanding in BXL & MS that Trump 2.0 wants to fundamentally undermine #EU (finally). Consequently transactional logic not THE answer.

Already in 2018, I warned in a piece for the @ecfr.eu that the EU needs to invest more in its defense as it was only a question of time that Trump would use the US' military protection of Europe to blackmail Europeans. Let's hope that our leaders now have learned the lesson.
