Does anyone else's cat go after straws? No one at our place can leave any fast-food drinks and such with straws in them visible and unattended; if that happens Smokey will knock that drink over...Every time. I was reminded of this again this evening, when I was away from my drink for thirty seconds.

This year we did Thanksgiving at our place. It was a ton of work! I also tried brining our turkey for the first time...Spectacular. 100% recommended, and I'll be doing them that way by default from here on out.

Tomorrow afternoon will be my first time playing at a winery. Never thought wineries would be hotbeds for booking, but I'll take it. :)
