We expect this from Republicans, but we specifically pushed Democrats to make sure this wouldn't happen. That being said, remember this isn't a left vs right issue, but an up vs down war. Keep your eyes on the right targets. Shooting across the aisle will do us little good at all.

They have turned them away. Elon was turned away by Trump's aid, his lackeys were resisted sometimes physically by staff in several agencies, and we the people are finally organized to resist on the front lines. The legal system is slowing the process, but resistance is happening right now.

The vast majority of them are just victims of propaganda. Republicans branded themselves as the party of Guns, God, and Beer. The moral party. As such they linked themselves to the idea of the Underdog Rebel, Morality/God, and Masculinity. A lot of them don't research, just vote the way they're told

I understand the frustration. I do. And that's the point. Revolution doesn't come from organizing or litigation. It comes from the built up frustration and condemnation of the people. Sharing an image isn't going to make Elon or Trump give up, but it is going to keep the tension until we spark. 💥

Pay closer attention. Our officials are trying to stall and inconvenience the new regime and our organizers are using our first amendment rights to put the brakes on too. Following the law is making things go slower than they should, but people ARE mobilizing. Even just talking on here is defiance.

I miss the hope she brought too, but we need to remember, propaganda is a hell of a weapon, most people fall for it, they've been rigging this since at least Reagan, and our fight isn't left vs right, but up vs down. We're going to need unity to oppose the red queen without losing our heads.

All that being said, I still vote Dem in the interest of slowing the damage, but we're watching people die in real time and Dems are doing nothing about it. Even when they're in power it's a bandaid, not a solution. Reps are still more like a bear tearing off your arms with the damage they do.

Left voters have been moving further left while the Dems stay where they are or even lean right to appeal to moderates. Dems no longer reflect the values of their voters, they don't protect our rights if it means breaking rules, and they play it too safe for their own political careers.
