Creating self-indulgent fan content is so rewarding in it's own way, because you might never get numbers, but if you want it, you know that there's at least one other person out there who has been *waiting* and that one vaguely unhinged/heartfelt comment can mean more than hundreds of likes.

A few months back I was worried about the final chapters for the year, because what was once upon a time two chapters has been split into five, so they would of course be much shorter.
And then somewhere along the way I ended up with five unedited, and in some cases unfinished, 6k+ word chapters
