Every Conversation starts with Hello 💬 Storyteller, Writer, Strategic Communicator.
In 2024 I kept it short, sweet, and to the point (pun intended) and highlighted TWO of my favorite things (in no particular order): #horror movies AND BOOKS!

While adaptions can be controversial (don't ask me abt #TheShining), this #31DaysofHorror list was one for the books. #horrorsky

2023's #31DaysofHorror theme was born of circumstance and a series of coincidences so spooky they raised the dead... and one of the oldest monsters in #horror: VAMPIRES. #CreatureFeature

Welcome to 2022 and one of my absolute favorite #31DaysofHorror themes of all time: WOMEN MAKE HORROR.

Inspired by a book of the same name (Alison Peirse), this is a a tribute to the BTS #ScreamQueens of the #horror genre - from writers and directors to art and photography. #HorrorCommunity

The year is 2021 and the #31DaysofHorror theme is? NO Theme Halloween.

Why? "Because this year has me tired as Nancy at the end of a Freddy movie, and much like the protagonists in these horror films–I am just out here trying to survive!"

When life's a #horrorshow, count on the spooky classics.

It's 2020 & thanks to YouKnowWhat I have time to (take what'd previously been haphazard scribbles on a torn piece of notebook paper) formally chronical & share my #31DaysofHorror list online for the first time.

A year of firsts had a fitting theme: #Horror Movies I've Never Seen (+Bonus Lists) 👻

Both of those stores are wonderful! Vanness is a treasure if you like samples.

I also always shill for Cardinal Pens and Paper, formerly Anderson Pens. Lovely people and great service. (I am not family!)

I am loving all of these recommendations! I’m fairly new to the fountain pen and ink world, I am jotting these stores down for the future - thank you 🙌🏻

Both lovely! I also adore Birmingham Pen Company and often can find ink there no one else still has!

Ferris Wheel Press has a LOT of fun ones, the FerriTales collection is especially whimsical.

It’s a Ferris Wheel Press ink. I currently use two from their FerriTales collection, but the one marked as final batch I was seeking out is Cloak and Forrest 🙂 hoping I’ve got enough to last me awhile now, but the sample quantities thing is a good suggestion I hadn’t considered!

It’s a Ferris Wheel Press ink, I currently use two from their FerriTales collection. Cloak and Forrest is the one flagged as final batch and the other is Green with Curiosity. Both green inks with shimmer but one leans silver/blue and the other leans purple/pink. Both are gorgeous!

I was so impressed!

The reason I ended up shopping with both? They are small, family owned operations passed down through generations and you just can’t find that anymore. 10/10 recommend.

The second is Atlas Stationers out of Chicago, Illinois. I loved the adorable postcard and handwritten note inside—thanks, Brian!
