My large Smithsonian coffee mug inspired me to visit all 19 locations in DC in a year. I made multiple visits to the museums of Natural History, Hirshhorn, both Air and Space locations, and American Art. All free of charge, except for the exits through the gift shops. Protect the Smithsonian.

Mental health break of #chopwoodcarrywater. I moved a raised flower bed to a full sun spot to grow veg, potatoes and sweet potatoes. My other raised bed is temporarily holding irises that I will plant along the fence line. I will go lettuce outside until the warm weather comes.

Almost feeling steady on my quad skates, first time out in almost a year. Me and my shadow, the Spawn. The sculpture represents the illusion of the green flash phenomenon at sunset. Mission Beach near Belmont Park. 90 minutes of boardwalk skating gave me noodle legs. Totally worth it.

Our sweet girl, Pepsi, went to the Rainbow Bridge last night. She and her sister, Cola, were foster-adoptees from a large intake at Front Street two years ago. Rats comfort each other and mourn the loss. Pocket puppies are the best. Broken heart because we share such a brief time together.
