Just making sure you know that this is canon from the Devil’s Minion chapter in QotD! I love that fic writers have adopted it but I would not want you to miss the original delightful scene. I hope we get it in season 3 too.

It has taken me six months but I finally figured out what Sam was most likely talking about here: both Lestat and Daniel were abandoned by their makers. 😭 But he couldn’t say that in this interview bc season 2 wasn’t over yet and we didn’t know Daniel would become a vampire.
