It’s a “genuine worry” that a third of Scotland’s national newspapers are owned in the US tax haven of Delaware, says TJN’s @alexcobham.bsky.social, as it obscures control and can allow anonymous owners to “subvert domestic politics” via their newspapers’ content. @jamiermann.bsky.social

Scottish Labour MSPs had the chance to stand up for disabled people. They chose to stand with Westminster instead.

By refusing to condemn Keir Starmer’s brutal disability benefit cuts, they sided with cruelty over compassion.

Eradicating child poverty is my number one priority.

We’ve got what it takes to build a fairer Scotland, and we’ve already made some progress - but we need to think big and act bold.

I’m here at the Robertson Trust in Stirling, speaking to campaigners this morning.

Surely this is exactly the sort of review which should have taken place before MP’s were asked to vote?

🥀 Bills are now forecast to rise in January by £168 on average, since Labour got in.

💷 A £468 cut is now required to meet that promise.
