One of the most frightening symptoms. I very rarely get it now but it persisted for well over a year. Like all of a sudden you’ve been hit with a sledgehammer in your chest and all ability to naturally breathe has just gone! Physical manifestation of a feeling of doom. Just 😱

I’ve always said my breathing difficulties from Covid felt like they were coming from my brain- my body ‘forgot’ how to automatically breathe. I had to concentrate on every breath in and out. Completely unlike asthma. #LongCovid here since early 2020
