My heart breaks for my American friends across the pond, their alternative to the Republicans is a return to the same mistakes that led to Trump and Project 2025.
It is actually a good thing to keep shitty people from positions of power.

What scares me as a Brit the other side of the pond, is that Brexit means we no longer have the EU protecting us from a lot of America's low food standards coming to our shores.

He basically wants to be the centre of every story... if only we could persuade him the hero always dies.🙄

The problem is most people will only hear the 'questioning' part and not see anything wrong with that, only to then show no interest to who is asking those questions and their motives.
It worked with us trans people & it can work with abortion rights as it only takes a few people in power.

The frustration is that a cure is some quick surgery but getting to that point is just delay after delay.

Train trip to Nuffield Hospital in Wimbledon, not been there before so I'll make it a bit of a day out.

For those who don't know, after 13 happy years I'm having problems with my surgery with some bleeding from granulation that refuses to heal. I stay positive but after a year it can be tough. From gym & indoor climbing to planning how much a walk is going to cost in pain & blood.

Terms like pregnant person came about to be more inclusive for people like trans men who can still give birth, it was in no way meant to replace pregnant woman just add to the options.
It's just another version of the lie that if you give rights to one then another must be losing out.

Also lying about public support & how they will win out eventually because of it.
He reminded me of the right wing trans people who will destroy everything to get their own way. Everything about this episode had familiar overtones about it.

As trans person I couldn't but notice this guy was like a blueprint of every transphobe & their tactics I have ever known.
Quoting references but lying about their findings. Promoting the undermining of anyone who doesn't hold their point of view, framing it as a danger.

I've not used patches but they should be ok just got to get the blood levels good all over again every time they make a change.
Came off Progesterone recently & my legs were on fire & itchy, not been like that since I was a kid. Fun times.
