Over the last few years we have been developing methods for markerless motion capture of biomechanics and getting them into the clinics, such as at @abilitylab.bsky.social.

We are now developing foundation models from these large datasets and testing what this enables. Two recent preprints:

Saying that the US should let other countries take their turns at being the global leader in biomedical research really makes no sense at all.

Sure. While we’re at it, let’s also stop being leaders in terms of economic influence and military might.

Senator Durbin noted that some (I believe Republican Senators) had indicated the US had been doing more than its share of biomedical research and it was time for other countries take a turn.
