Let nothing disturb you.
Let nothing frighten you.
All things pass away.
God never changes.
Patience obtains all things.
They who have God lack nothing.
God alone is enough.

#ToPray✝️

Be a Gardener
Dig a ditch
Toil and sweat
And turn the earth upside down
And seek the deepness
And water plants in time
Continue this labour
And make sweet floods to run & noble & abundant fruits to spring
Take this food & drink & carry it to God as your true worship

Refresh in us, Lord,
day by day and hour by hour,
our awareness of your presence,
of your dwelling in us and among us.
As we navigate
the opportunities and challenges,
the possibilities and temptations of life,
help us hear and follow your voice,
your call to love.

Learning about the value of play during my research in care homes was transformational on a personal level for me.
I light tonight’s #candleforcare with an emphasis on the importance of #intergenerational work and play on the evening before #PlayDay2025. #careaboutcare

In Deaf theology we say signed languages were present at Pentecost too. Language is more than spoken.
At #Pentecost, the people could speak each other's languages. The barriers between us were dismantled. This story asks me to confront the ableism, white supremacy, anti-immigrant rhetoric (& more) that divide us - not accidentally, but because we construct hierarchies and create injustice. (1/4)
The miracle of hearing at Pentecost

This is a sermon prepared for a small congregation in a small Warwickshire village. The reading for the day is Acts 2:1-21. We’ve been watching the ITV drama Code of Silence. It is a vivid demonstration  that all of us hear differently.Rose Ayling-Ellis plays…
