It’s extremely important to teach children what to do when they encounter a gun in an age-appropriate way starting very young. It saves lives. Knowing how to disabled a firearm so it can’t hurt people is a good skill, not a scary thing to know.

The first time I saw this post in my feed, I didn’t get it at all. I even thought there might be a typo somewhere. The next time I saw this post, I knew the context and it’s just…wow, Wtf…

I understand. 😔 I just worry for my trans cousin. He lives in a place where he does not fear harassment or harm, but the state knows his original birth certificate, knows his marriage status, and knows his child is adopted. And they’re actively working to ruin his family and life forever.

I agree, but people who are listed on government rolls - whether due to disability or who they married - can no longer hide when the law allows their persecution, regardless of how well they pass. Their names & addresses are readily available to the state, and to any bad actors they give access to.

Does it not matter supremely that the government does know his orientation and the composure of his family? Like, when it comes to goals of invalidating marriages and taking children away?

Bud Light too, for that matter. Their parent company is doing alright, but the brand was ruined first by the Right boycott and then their milquetoast capitulation. Playing both sides doesn’t seem to work.

And totally predictable. This exact thing happened to Target regarding their Pride collections. They made both sides angry and never recovered from capitulating to the Right. That was in May/June 2023 and their stocks are still falling.
