Als ich anfing, zu Thatcher zu forschen, sagte mir ein britischer Historiker und Freund, dass das allererste Buch, das ich zu den 80ern in 🇬🇧 lesen müsse, kein Sachbuch, sondern The Line of Beauty sei.

Fantastisches, aber sehr erschütterndes Buch.

i am very aware that there is plenty of instability in other European countries too, especially France Right now. So no need to @ me. But Starmer has a huge majority and could just get it together. And Europe could really use a stable UK right now.
