What a timely request Aaron! I want to shout about my current read - Fear, by Gabriel Chevalier. I just happened upon it in my library but have been gripped by it. Published in 1930, it is an honest account of the abject terror men experienced at the front line of WW1. An astonishing read, even now.

I've seen people recover from extreme #anorexianervosa when everyone (including the patient) believed they were unhelpable. We must do better, firstly at prevention & secondly at treatment + support of people with severe & enduring mental health problems. I don't believe assisted dying is the answer

Oh, and a pet peeve about the way psychotherapists are so often portrayed - holding a clipboard and writing notes in a session. That's not how the vast majority of us work. For one thing, it stops us being fully present for the client in the moment. Notes are for after the session. #psychotherapy
