Seeing lots of people with blind emotional reactions to the headline who haven’t even read the article. Come one guys. The world isn’t a black-and-white mortality. You’re not a bad person if you read an article that used the letters “ai” with genuine curiosity, I promise.

Human progress is awesome. So glad for scientists improving our wellbeing, for disabled and the abled folk alike.

Yes, the ultra wealthy ruin everything (ai, the internet, transport, resources for all our energy needs, etc.) the solution is to remove them, not blanket-criticize all human progress.

I can't help but wonder if he didn't negotiate better because he knew enough dems were going to vote yes, so he could safely vote no and neither be held responsible for caving nor for "allowing" the shutdown to continue. But I don't follow his actions closely enough to know.

I was thinking the same thing

Seems to me like the whole point of this one-year bill is so the Reps can have something to point to when they're accused of not caring about healthcare, and they can blame the Dems for not passing it.

Is it naive to trust that the Republicans would even pass the one-year extension? Seems to me, but I'm still learning the ins-and-outs of how congress works.

He's like the kid in 2nd grade whose uncle definitely works for Nintendo and gives him all the cool secret video games that were never released.

You actually went out of your way to give them a second chance at normalizing this concept to unsuspecting Americans. Treacherous.
October 11, 2025 at 12:51 PM
BUT THEN, instead of ever confronting it or accurately explaining it, you actually went out of your way to give them another opportunity to normalize this concept to unsuspecting Americans.
This is worse than doing nothing. You should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves for helping them. I am livid.

This is so much worse than ignoring his plenary authority comment, even worse than pretending the 'technical glitch' bs is true.

Instead, you further allow the regime's normalization of this term WITHOUT PUSHBACK.

You should be absolutely ashamed of yourselves for helping them. I am livid
October 11, 2025 at 12:39 PM
Ignoring it was bad enough. Allowing the comment to slide in, unnoticed, so the average unsuspecting American would just think nothing of, like it's some normal term of no import. And then to allow their stupid lie of "technical difficulties"? Cowardly.

The person who got shot said "I live here" clearly in the video. Make sure you watch the whole thing before commenting.
