You guys actually made it worse. How could you take completely ignoring his "plenary authority" slip up and actually make it worse? You are useless to the American people.

During a military-style raid on a building in Chicago’s South Shore, one resident heard a knock on his door.

It wasn’t the feds —  it was a mom and her 7-year-old daughter, pleading for help.

He let them hide in his unit for the next 3 days.

Now.. imagine we do what we did with Disney with more and more mega corporations… until we have healthcare, housing, living wages, bodily autonomy, gender and racial equity, money out of politics… and like… just keep going all the way until we get to the liberation of everyone worldwide.

Do other people ever feel shame that they can’t stop thinking about their special interest and just do what they’re “supposed” to do?

So frustrating when people who don’t experience this refuse to believe that a person can be literally disabled by something they’ve dismissed as “just a hobby”.

They are going to target social media platforms too. When they do, censorship will rapidly escalate.

Prepare to inform your followers to move to alternatives (Bluesky, Mastodon, Pixelfed, Flashes, Skylight Social). Share why you’re leaving and where you’re going.

This will be vital for resistance.

On today’s episode of Things I Didn't Know I Took Literally:

On tv shows when someone says “Who’s asking?” I always thought it meant “Are you asking for yourself or for someone else?” So I’d imagined replying, “Me. I’m the one asking.”

Just realized it actually means “Who are you?” 😅

In an effort to help me focus, I'm trying to use a strict schedule for my working hours. I'm finding it is helpful for staying on task, but it's really cutting into my "sitting here staring moodily out the window" time.

I keep seeing well-meaning comments like “I’m autistic and I pay taxes” or “autistic people w/ high support needs still provide value to others through friendship”, and I cannot stress how frustrating it is to me to see this rhetoric being so widely tossed around and celebrated.

Yes, it’s a bit hard to see now, but allowing the president to become a king who can kidnap citizens while also demolishing the global financial system is a small price to pay for getting to keeping 23 trans women from playing college sports.
