Perovskite’s found in the rain in brown dwarf stars, in volcanic fumaroles, & in kimberlite pipes rocketing from mantle to crust. Rhodochrosite’s crystals can be pale blush to dark blood red, & can form rhombohedral & scalenohedral crystals, rosettes, blades, and more.

My fav thing about #MinCup24 is learning more about all the contestants. #Howlite is pretty cool. Though to me #Stibnite is even prettier kohl & a simple choice for me, as black, needle, orthorhombic & antimony are all words almost designed to get my attention!
