It can work for some devs who are well-suited (e.g., Jonas Tyroller), but is typically way more pain than it's worth.

Content marketing focused on the game itself (e.g., tiktoks, reels & shorts) however could be worth your while.

It's insanely saturated out there. Have you tried pitching content creators on playing the demo? If so, how many and what was the response rate?

I agree with other comments that starting a vlog is not necessarily the best play.

Don't put all your eggs in the media basket. Focus on content, creators & community first, then use your momentum as social proof to land coverage.
