I recently returned to my 5am writing, but these days, I hit start on the tiny portable tea kettle I keep on my nightstand & get back into bed with my laptop. I do not turn on the light so my dog can sleep undisturbed. Then I write in my bed until I have to get up and get ready for my day job. 2/3
