Set in Apartheid South Africa in the ‘70s. The story itself is fair but the it falls flat in the end - not really believable considering how young one of the main characters is. Don’t want to throw out any spoilers! Ending may be a bit rushed.

So this is/was my darling Delilah. She lived to the fantastic age of 18 - defying the odds for the last 8 years in spectacular fashion. She lost the battle on her own terms on the 11th February 2025 and my heart is still aching.
