We have to do more than be engaged on the internet.

What’s painful here is that so many think college is just about getting a job, and our lack of investment in education which leads to so much debt and essentially teaching to a test in K-12. They get to college and have no critical thinking skills. Trade programs already exist in comm. college.

I thought the Big Ugly was cutting ACA subsidies too. So, even if you qualified for insurance other than Medicaid, your premiums will go up. And then insurance cos will raise everybody’s rates.

Why does anyone think there’ll be another vote? All the other “norms” are gone. Why do you expect that one to still be there? It’s, like, the next chapter in Project 2025.

We need to get off the internet and DO something.

They want their mergers. Capitalism wins over integrity, every time there are billions to be made. Which is why government is supposed to protect us from this crap.

I hope you’re all making calls to every other person who voted yes as well, and not just the two easy targets. There’s enough rage to go around.

I think we should ask ourselves why we are so hot to take all of this out on M and C, and not the other 50 people who voted yes. Why do we love to hate only those two right now? Is it because they gave us hope? And then crushed it? Why not the other sorry excuses for human beings? Just curious.

This is it. When and if we get out of this fascist mess, the Arts will bring empathy back. It has to be. Otherwise, we are just doomed.

Cruel, heartless, evil people. Empathy is dead in the American right.
