While I’m on board for blaming Lisa Murkowski for a lot of things, let’s not forget that the entire Republican Party is to blame. 51 “people” voted for this despicable iteration of this bill. Many more in the House voted for something similar, and probably will again.

If we ever get out of this nightmare we need to include empathy in every subject we teach. Give the Arts and Humanities the lead again. I know… humans have always been cruel and maybe we’re just more aware because of available information. But, wow. People are shitty, and often in the name of God.
