At the Winnipeg Art Gallery-Qamajuq’s Qilak Gallery, a retrospective of Inuk artist Abraham Anghik Ruben’s life’s works is held under one roof.

From soapstone sculptures carved in the ‘80s to acrylic paintings from the 2020s, over 100 of his works are on display.

The world is complicated, but the LFC supported this little idea to provide art supplies to Labrador youth so they could try diff mediums and maybe create more art from their amazing perspectives 🖌️

Sometimes these programs seem pointless with the state of the 🌎
