Yes, nearly constantly running. We had a fleet of non-fluorescent epochs and fluorescent synergy machines. We kept buying more as our demand for growth assays/passage of microbial communities and screens was huge. Customer service is good there too - it was a small company for a long time

I liked our fleet of biotek machines (synergy does fluorescence) when I was in KC Huang's lab.

That is my image! It is Bacillus subtilis 3610 (maybe a mutant, I can't recall). I spotted cells onto biofilm-promoting media. I love the volcano colonies.
