Oh! Thanks to Reddit for giving me the info that the film itself isn’t out of copyright because some of the songs featured had their rights’ renewed… So I can’t show y’all how my 1930s faves banish my blues away. Alas, gloom and misery everywhere!

I should have known better and ran away when, sat at this table at a bridal shower, all the people were discussing how they/their kids’d just recovered from colds/flus/Covid…. But I couldn’t help myself! I need human contact! 🤦🏼♀️

The worst thing now is deciding whether I should help out current 18th-c. grad students (which of course I want to), but maybe I should use the time to apply to paying jobs.
