This is all assumptions, I should clarify. I'm sure there are some subreddit lurkers who see this reality too. But for all the wishful thinking of a sequel I've seen, I don't think it's something that should be wished for. (Never mind that it probably would never live up to the hype-stalgia of TF|2)

TF|2 didn't sell well. Apex has. That's some simple math that EA (and, let's be real, Respawn as well) can't ignore. If TF|3 really is one of those crazy Game Awards announcements, get ready for a "Protocol 3 Bundle", complete with a BT hood ornament and a pre-order bonus of r401-shaped deoderant.
