Smashing! I don't know as much about architecture as I'd like to, but to my eye I can see Victorian giving way to Edwardian here, with even some foreshadowing of Art Deco... Looks as if it was very modern for its time. I bet lots of staid old folk hated it!

I honestly don't know because I'm perennially confused by our voting system. I worry about wasted second votes. I worry about splitting the indy vote. I worry about not knowing whether it's good or bad to vote SNP 1st and 2nd, despite reading all sorts of intelligent theories and explanations...
