Gotham is in New Jersey while Metropolis is across the river in Delaware, though the comics are inconsistent. The James Gu. Superman movie seems to follow this as Lois' car has Delaware plates and a highway sign shows Gotham is just up the interstate from Metropolis.

The Drax logo looks suspiciously like the old Rockwell International logo, coincidentally the contractor who built the Space Shuttle orbiter.
